St Andrew’s At Francis Place, a leader within the long-term care industry, is currently seeking a skilled and driven Director of Nursing to welcome our ever-growing team! The Director of Nursing interacts with each department within the facility and requires a leader who can lead, motivate, educate and mentor licensed and certified staff. In this role you will create a collaborative and efficient workplace with attention to quality standards and policies.
The Director of Nursing will direct the operations of the Nursing Department to ensure that the highest degree of quality resident care is maintained in accordance with the State and Federal Regulations and the facility policies and procedures.
As the Director of Nursing, you will be interacting with residents, family members and physicians as well as managing the resident’s data and medical records. Additional responsibilities include planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the coordination of the nursing department with other members of the Nursing Team to ensure the accuracy and continuity of the resident’s total plan of care. Overseeing an on-going Quality Improvement Program for the nursing department.
Job Requirements for the Director of Nursing.
- RN License in good standing with the State Board of Nursing (required)
- BLS/CPR Certified
- Well versed with State and Federal Regulations for Long Term Care and experience in the long-term industry.
- The ideal candidate will have both clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, as well as experience in Director of Nursing management and supervision (charge nurse, head nurse, nursing service director, nurse manager, or other similar position in nursing administration)
